Inspired by the Curtis Homestead, which is a preserved piece of land and history in Leeds, Maine that is maintained by the Kennebec Land Trust. This painting is featured in "Writing the Land," a literary publication of poems and artworks in collaboration with multiple land trusts in New England.

Finished with non-yellowing archival varnish.
